Opponent: Condiments-SL (SL-A 5 Star Gladiator)
This series of videos were meant to showcase some of the strengths and weaknesses when certain classes go up against each other or rather a Sin and a SM since that is what we play.
Thus, to eliminate things such as gear/skill differences between different players of the same class..we decided to put up the fights against the same player/opponent.
With that being said - We think that for every fight in AION(Not only in the arena but even for open world as well) - There are 3 major factors that play a huge part in determining the outcome.
1. Environmental factors - Ground/Flight pvp areas, Walls to LOS your opponents, random mobs that throw debuffs on you and etc.
2. RNG - At the end of the day, Aion is still RNG based. Sometimes all it takes is just 1 godstone proc to nyerk you up(Be it DMG godstones/Silence/Blind/Para) and i don't think i need to explain this point any further.
3. The Human Variable - Reacting appropriately to the given situation, minimizing mistakes/errors made during fights. Simply put, the less mistakes you make the better your chances are..But as this is the human variable, we must not forget about the player.. Sometimes people might just be having a bad day or just burned out mentally/physically to put up a decent fight..

Quick run through for this matchup: In terms of raw burst or damage output compared to a Sin.. Glads are no joke as you can see.. Good use of Signet Silence helps alot and also buried blinds as well. However, to chase or retreat when the Glad pops Charge to kite away the buried blind is entirely up to the player's choice..Most importantly, take advantage when UD is down..No shame in that.. If you are able to secure a kill when the Glad has his UD up or able to go into hide to wait it out then good for you as then you'll have a much easier time after..
