Bonda soup is very popular South Indian recipe served either as a breakfast or snack .. Spongy crispy Black gram fritters topped up with light thin dal soup... spicy and tangy dal soup compliments fried fritters. Bonda soup along with hot filter coffee is heavenly combination..
Follow the few tricks as mentioned in video and you can make perfectly crisp bonda and dal soup at home.

Ingredients
Bonda
1) 1 Cup Urad Dal/Black Gram + 1/8tsp Fenugreek(soaked for 4-5hours)
2) 7-8 Curry leaves
3) 2-3 Green chilies
4) Black Pepper(optional)
5) 1inch Ginger chopped
6) Salt to taste
7) 3-4 tbsp Water for grinding only if required
8) 2tbsp Fresh coconut
9) Oil for frying

Moong Dal Soup
1) 1 Cup Moong Dal
2) 1 Tomato chopped
3) 2-3 Green chili
4) 1/2inch Ginger
5) 1/2tsp Turmeric
6) 1/2tsp Rasam powder
7) Salt to taste
8) 2tsp Ghee
9) 1tsp Mustard seeds
10) 1tsp Cumin seeds
11) 6-7 curry leaves
12) 1/8tsp Asafoetida
13) handful coriander leaves
14) Juice of lemon as required
15) 2tsp Ghee
