US farmers is about 2% of population but they can feed 98% of the population in the US and export. USDA has subsidies programs to help farmers for farm loans, insurance, disaster relief, conservation, and stabilize food supplies and prices along with cash assistance to about 40% of farmers. Corn, soybean, cattle, wheat, rice, cotton, and chestnut are the main farm products in the US.
