Ukrainians face a cold and dark winter with damaged power grid as snow hits Kyiv

The winter snow fell in Kyiv that may trouble servicemen concerns Ukrainians.

Repeated attacks on the energy system are hurting those living on the front lines most, without access to heating, water, and essential services. Besides frontline predicament, Ukraine people also have to worry about heat and light which has been damaged by Russia's Monday retaliatory strikes after Ukrainian drone attack hit two airbases in Russian heartland.

As the temperatures dropped below zero to -8 degrees, power grid fails to warm citizens. According to UN statistics, 40 percent of the Kyiv region was left without electricity.
