This is our 4X4 self drive safari van tour. We are a family of 3 travelling on a self drive Africa overland safari. We are on the road in Africa for several months travelling to South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and Zambia.

We are the Newbys, John, Tara, and our two little boys Crusoe and Sawyer. We’re a family who are pursuing an alternative lifestyle, and after two years of full time travel we’ve taken root on an abandoned farm in Northern Portugal which we’re renovating into our dream off-grid homestead.
