Ask the Panel Guys | Episode 6: The Basics of High-Pressure Laminate Panels (HPL)

Описание к видео Ask the Panel Guys | Episode 6: The Basics of High-Pressure Laminate Panels (HPL)

High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) material is produced by saturating multiple layers of kraft paper with phenolic resin. A layer of printed décor paper is placed on top of the kraft paper before pressing. The materials are then fused together under heat and pressure (more than 1,000 PSI).

HPL panels (also referred to as phenolic panels) are perfect for use in innovative and functional ventilated façade systems. Used on its own, or as a highlight in combination with other materials, HPL panels can determine the look and underline the qualities of a building.
