Here we go to the Gamarra Market. It is arguably the biggest market in all of South America. It uses the whole of the Gamarra district to sell everything, fish, meat, fruit, textiles, the whole shabang!

AND... its mainly for the locals and is not the safest place for a gringo, as you will see from the video.

I am still practising my Spanish and it doesn't seem to be going too well as I speak to the locals. I ask a tuc tuc driver to take me somewhere where I can buy a Peruvian football shirt... INSTEAD, I get dropped off at a football pitch 🙈
