Today I received a text which read “FedEx: fedex.com [link with tracking code inserted here] Unable to deliver, Track for details. Reply HELP for help. STOP to cancel.”

The message in the link indicated that the shipping address is available incorrect.

The message in the link directed me to resolve the shipping issue by calling a particular help line phone number. When I called and responded to the various prompts, I received a message stating that only the shipper can correct or change the shipping address.

Well the shipping address is correct so I then logged on to the Walmart site to check the address they had for my shipment. It was correct there and also indicated that the shipment is delayed by one day.

Have you experienced this issue with FedEx? It was especially confusing to me when their message went indicated that my shipping address was not a valid address. They have shipped previously without problems just like UPS and USPS who have never had problems shipping to my address.

Maybe the message originated from the driver who accidentally hit the selection on his app for a bad address instead of hitting the selection indicating that he’s running late?

What’s your experience with FedEx regarding tracking shipments, getting updates about shipments, and other package delivery issues?
