Assam Health and Finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that the call by six communities to the state government to decide on giving Scheduled Tribe status to them within a definite time frame will end up making the scenario for difficult in the state. After Thursday's talks with the Chief Minister bore no definitive results, representational bodies of the six communities called for a decision from the state government on the matter by January 31 while threatening to intensify agitations otherwise.
