How Brie won the title king of cheeses

Brie is one of the best known French cheeses around the world. It has a rich history, possibly going back to a monastery in 7th century France and an encounter with Frankish Emperor Charlemagne. In this episode, I look at whether that origin story is true, how Brie became famous throughout Europe by the 17th century, and how it is different from its cousin, Camembert.
