“I miss doing movies with Saif. He’s such a good actor, you know, and he’s my favourite person. That’s what keeps us going — we genuinely like each other’s company. We like talking to each other, spending time together, doing things together. But we’re also each others’ biggest critics. Before I began shooting for Jaane Jaan, Saif told me I had to pull up my socks for this role – which translated into what I believe to be one of my most intense performances.
So I would say, there’s no secret to a perfect relationship where you can tick all the boxes. But if there’s love and friendship, it can certainly feel perfect – at least it does for Saif and me, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!”
