UPDATE 1:50 p.m. | Still no return yet from lunch.

UPDATE: 12:23 p.m. | After multiple objections from defense attorneys to slides for the prosecution's opening statement that the defense attorneys say contain errors, the judge is going to release the jurors for lunch until 1:30.

UPDATE: 11:42 a.m. | Court is briefly in recess after an interruption during the prosecution's opening statement, in which Young Thug's attorney Brian Steel motioned for a mistrial due to a slide that he wasn't given appearing in the prosecution's presentation. The mistrial motion was denied.

UPDATE 10:23 A.M. | The juror has arrived and court is back in session.

UPDATE 9:45 a.m. | Court opened session and has gone into recess because one juror isn't present. It's unclear when court will resume. 11Alive has cut the in-court sound from this feed while court is in recess.

Opening arguments could come today in the trial of Young Thug and the YSL RICO case.

Roughly 18 months after Young Thug and 27 others were indicted as part of a sweeping RICO case alleging that the Atlanta rapper is the kingpin of a street gang called "Young Slime Life," a trial will begin in earnest this week.

The trial will ask a jury to decide whether Young Thug is, as prosecutors have alleged, "King Slime" of a violent Atlanta gang or whether, as the rapper's attorneys have steadfastly maintained, the artistic force behind a record label and lifestyle brand miscast by an overly aggressive district attorney's office.
