Spring 2023 Fukuoka Day 2 | Itoshima Peninsula, Tochoji Temple, Kushida Shrine, Murang Pasalubong

We spent our Day 2 adventure by going to the beach area, Itoshima Peninsula. We used the 1 Day Itoshima Peninsula Pass via MyRoute app for 1,800yen per person. This pass includes rouondtrip expressway bus from Hakata/Tenjin to Itoshima and vice versa.

After the breather in Itoshima, we rode a bus back and went to Tochogi Temple and Kushida Shrine. Both places have a big Sakura Tree which is very calming to look at. From Gion Bus Stop its just a few minutes walk from said locations.

Then we just walked again to Max Valu Express Hakata Gion for pasalubong shopping. Prices are cheaper in their drugstore at the 1st floor than the supermarket at the lower ground.

Lesson for this day: Don't be afraid to get lost, that's how you enjoy your way to your destination.
