Mantra for the Eyes Supports Healthy Vision (Sun Invocation)

Описание к видео Mantra for the Eyes Supports Healthy Vision (Sun Invocation)

The lyrics for this mantra for the eyes are “Om Grinihi Suryaya Adityom.” The literal meaning is “I salute the Shining One that heals the eyes.” For further explanation of this mantra, please see the following video:    • Mantra for the Eyes with Introductory...

OM is the creative energy of the universe. GRINIHI is an attribute of the sun that strengthens the eyes. SURYAYA is a reference to Surya, the Hindu god of the sun. ADITYOM is an esoteric aspect of the sun (Aditya) for healing. Aditi is a goddess personifying the vastness of the universe. She is the mother of many other deities (known as “adityas”).

Mantra yoga has powerful effects on the body, mind and consciousness. This practice also goes back thousands of years. In the Ayurvedic tradition, mantras can be used as a tool for optimal wellness. The Mantra Parusha is the body of sound that envelopes the physical body. Mantras correspond to this energy body to bring balance. This mantra is like a sonic sun salutation.

Mantras are keys to connecting and embodying the aspect of God’s consciousness exemplified by a particular deity. In this mantra, the focus is on Surya, god of the sun. The sun is the most common deity or symbol used to focus on optimal health, particularly for the eyes and vision. Mantras can be recited mentally, spoken aloud or sung. If you are looking for changes in your inner and outer circumstances, mantra yoga is a very powerful tool!
