TURKEY vlog | From Goreme to Uchisar Castle | Cappadocia Trip

In this video, join us as we explore Uchisar Castle, a unique historical site in the Cappadocia region of Turkey. We begin our journey by taking the Goreme public bus, which conveniently leaves every 30 minutes. After a short ride, we arrive at Uchisar Castle, a natural rock formation that has been transformed into a military fortress over the centuries.
As we enter the castle, we are immediately transported back in time by the intricate carvings and frescoes lining the walls. We explore the different rooms and chambers that served as living quarters, kitchens, and storage spaces for the castle's inhabitants. We are impressed by the many paintings of Turkish artists and kitchen appliances that offer a glimpse into daily life in the castle's past.
We climb higher and higher within the castle, enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. We see beautiful houses blending in with the landscape and fairy chimneys that were created through centuries of erosion. We also learn about the soft tuff rock that covers much of the Cappadocia region, and how it allowed the builders to create amazing structures and passages within the castle.
