Nintendo had a lot to prove after its largely unsuccessful Wii U era, so the company really came out swinging in 2017 with its new Switch console. And it's no secret that many of the Switch's best and highest-selling first party games⁠—The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Party, Splatoon 2, etc.—released early in the hybrid console’s lifespan. Since then, I can't help but sense that Nintendo has become stagnant and even complacent as a result of its newfound success. And I sincerely hope the second half of the console's lifespan isn't a software wasteland, devoid of the kinds of games that inspired so many customers to purchase a Switch in the first place. With that in mind, I've compiled my personal wish list of the seven sequels I'd love to see hit the Switch before the end of its run.
