This dock works as well as the Caldigit docks we looked at recently with one gotchya: Windows compatibility. While the ports all appear to work in Windows the power delivery (a key feature) does not. Power delivery did work on the Caldigit TS3 that I recently reviewed but it was limited to 85 watts (not enough for a larger Windows laptop).

Everything else appears to work about the same. USB speed is adequate but not as fast as a native port might be on your laptop. Ethernet works fine as does the DisplayPort connector. I was able to connect to two monitors (a 100hz 1440p widescreen and a 4k television).

It will work great for Macbook Pro users looking for a single cable docking solution that also provides power. Windows users should look for other options.
