Jogjakarta's SPICIEST BAKSO (Could I Finish It?)🥵+ Mangut Lele Mbah Marto: INDONESIA

This is the 5th in the eight part Indonesian series and the 3rd of the 4 part Yogyakarta!

So much amazing food to come from this artsy, college, food packed city!

I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without my friend Andre. Andre is one of the most influential food bloggers in Yogyakarta and surrounding areas. You can find his work in places like:

Wow, what I day full of extremes from spicy to sweet, and even pure fat in between.

Started off at a famous Lupis stall, it has been featured on Netlix’s show “Street Food” and I will say this, they definitely got this one right!

When then proceeded to a traditional market where we ate an abundance of food from sweet treats, pure fat satay, and then some of the best beef and nasi I have ever had!

We then left, but first had to grab a coconut sweet drink!

As I could feel my tummy filling up, we then headed to another famous place for it’s smoked catfish. Wow, this place is so much fun just to walk around and even more fun to eat at! Really good catfish and chicken liver! Plus you get to leave smelling like smoke, which I think is a plus!

Lasty, we headed for some of the spiciest bakso in Yogyakarta! Spoiler alert, it is very spicy!
