FFXI - Dynamis Currency Farming Method

Описание к видео FFXI - Dynamis Currency Farming Method

This is the way I farm Dynamis. I feel as it is the best way to farm after completing over 300 Dynamis runs. I use Dynamis - Buburimu as the example in the whole video but farming in any of the Dreamlands works its just my preferred area.

Step 1 - Prepararation
The first thing you need to do is prepare.

1. Jobs
Thief must be leveled to 99 with dancer sub.

2. Open Inventory
You will want to make sure to have a lot of inventory space with at least 50 slots.

3. Weapons/Weapon Skill
You'll want to get a pair of non iLVL daggers. I prefer Rudra's Storm as a weapon skill but Evisceration can be a great alternative.

4. Medicines
Bring a reraise for emergencies as you can still farm with weakened status. Also bring sneak oils and invis powders

5. Trusts
Uka Totlihn
Mayakov
Mumor
any two WHM Trust preferably ones that don't attack

6. Macros
Another aspect of making your farm successful is preparing a macro set that is tailored to the farm.

A damage taken set should be used for gathering a few mobs at once. I gather about 5-12 at a time. You may want to add a form of movement speed gear. I use Fajin Boots.

A TP set is good to swap to after you've procced to build TP to defeat mobs faster.

With subjobs unlocked the primary Job Ability you will use to proc will be Box Step. Its short recast time of 5 seconds make Box Step an invaluable tool for proccing. You'll also have four more job abilities that you will use to alternate with Box step. The shortest ability after box step is Violent Flourish with a 20 second recast followed by Bully with a three minute timer and Mug and Despoil having five minute timers. If you alternate correctly and all abilities are available you'll have 11 procs that you can do in a row. So as an example of a really stubborn enemy you'll use:

Box Step - Violent Flourish - Box Step - Bully - Box Step - Mug -Box Step - Despoil - Box Step - Violent Flourish - Box Step

A protip about your proc macros is you'll want to put your treasure hunter set in each one.

For example
Line 1 of your Box step macro should be your Treasure Hunter gear set
/equipset "TH Set"
and line 2 will be your box step macro
/ja "Box Step" target

Once you're done proccing you'll want to defeat the enemy quickly with a weapon skill macro.

Sneak/Invis/Flee macros
You'll want this for quick travel around the map. You'll be putting a macro line to swap in movement speed gear for this ability.

A Trust NPC Summon macro for when you enter Dynamis is helpful. It will optimize your time for more currency farming.

Step 4 - Go For it
1. You'll enter at one of the hieroglyphics and pick subjobs unlocked or restricted.

2. As soon as you enter use your NPC trust macro to summon your trust and quickly sneak/invis up.

3. Find the Time Extensions. There are 5 Time extentions total with four 10-minute time extentions that are static to one area and one 20 minute extension that has a wider range of where it can be. Each 10 minute time extension is in all four of the type of low level beastman groups Yagudo, Orc, Quadav, and Goblin. The 20 minute can be a statue in one of higher level camps. I always aim for the 20 minute statue first. Getting all 5 time extensions is required in order to proc the mobs with a red proc.

4. Find your camps
The camp will constantly be changing as the time of day determines what enemies you can proc for JA's. For example if you are farming in Dynamis-Buburimu you'll be fighting Nightmare Crawlers, Ravens, and Urganites from 0:00-8:00 Vanadiel time; Nightmare Mandies, Bunnies and efts from 08:00-16:00; and Nightmare Scorpions, Crabs, and Dhalmels from 16:00 to midnight Vanadiel time.
The camp route I like using is the Raven - Mandy - Scorpion route.

5. Pull 2-10 enemies based on your damage taken set. Line up the enemies and start proccing and defeating enemies. Watch your inventory start being stacked with currency.

I hope you enjoyed this guide and hope it is helpful in you completing your relic.
