LOGIC PRO X - Mellotron Vintage Textures

Logic's Mellotron is one of four 'vintage' instruments and whilst its parameter set is relatively straighforward, it's capable of producing a range of wonderful, retro sounds. This makes it a great choice, whether you're a fan of the Fab Four, or if you want some Goldfrapp-esque silver screen strings. In this video, Jono will take you through the Mellotron's assorted options, enhancing the plug-in's sound-shaping capabilities with the Tape Delay and Bitcrusher effect processors, to create a textural string pad which is designed to sound almost like a sample from a bygone age.
