DIY Rainbow Highlighter! Testing Pinterest Hack!

Hi loves! Today’s video is very different for me. I am showing you how I created my own DIY Rainbow Highlighter. I found out how to make this highlighter from Pinterest. Since I could not get ahold of the original viral rainbow highlighter I decided to try out this hack and share my experience with you. I hope that you guys enjoy my very first DIY! → PRODUCTS USED:

Essence Eyeshadow
Loreal LUMI Highlighter Powder
BH Cosmetics 120 Color Eyeshadow Palette
Lorac 3D Lustre Drops


→ TOOLS USED:

Wax Paper
Muffin Cups
Spoon
Tweezers
Smaller Spoon
Empty Compact
Baby Wipes
Paper Towels

→ Step by Step

1. Lay out wax paper as a precaution for a mess
2. Separate 7 muffin cups for powders
3. Use tweezers to remove highlighter powder into one muffin cup
4. Mash highlighter to a fine powder with spoon
5. Distribute highlighter powder evenly between 6 cups
6. Select 6 eyeshadow shades to mix into the six cups - one shade per cup
7. Use tweezers to remove eyeshadow into cup one by one
8. Mix each cup well
9. Add rubbing alcohol a little at a time to each powder until paste forms (One powder at a time) Do NOT add alcohol to every powder and then add to compact. Do each one separately.
10. Add each shade to the compact and push down and to the side
11. Once each shade is in the compact press on the compact with a paper towel until most of the alcohol is absorbed
12. Clean up the edges and let the highlighter sit out to dry for at least 24 hours - Do not try to use when wet
