This was the second year I did a motorcycle challenge. Last year I rode 37 laps of Latigo Canyon in Malibu, CA for my 37th Birthday. 14 Hours. 10++ Hours of Straight Seat Time. 280 Twisty Miles. I wasn't in my best physical shape this year so the challenge was less grueling than last but I did achieve a personal riding milestone...knee dragging with a passenger.

Annual Birthday Challenge Log:

2/16/2022: 38 Laps of Sand Canyon on a Motorcycle (some laps 2up).

2/16/2021: 37 Loops of Latigo Canyon on a Motorcycle.

2/16/20: BREAK (passing of a family member)

2/16/19: Sick. 35 “sets” of 3-minute meditation sessions.

2/16/18: 34 different exercises. 3 sets. 34 reps each set (3468). Took approximately 7:00hrs to complete.

2/16/17: 33 different exercises. 33 reps (1089) & served 1100+ people food (India).

2/16/16: 32 sets of 32 burpees (1024).

2/16/15: 3100 push-ups (300 every hour for 10+ hours).

2/16/14: 30 miles. 30 push-ups after each mile (900).

For me riding isn’t just something you do for fun or to clear the head. It isn’t just a hobby. Riding isn’t just a lifestyle. Riding is discovering yourself. Riding is creating yourself.
Riding is soul-shaking, soul-awakening consciousness.
