Exploring the U P Pictured Rocks Kayaking Tour

Pictured Rocks Kayaking Tours let us explore the Pictures Rocks from Lake Superior! We got to experience sights only seen from the water!
All participants are briefed by well trained guides making this trip possible from beginners to experts. The boat follows along and kayakers may return to the boat at any time and may also rejoin the tour.

Afterwards we took a little stroll through Munising. We walked through several shops , found the Art Alley displays local art, and several small restaurants.

Pasties (pronounced: pass-tees) are an area specialty. These were made for the miners to take as their meal during their shift...usually made from dinner leftovers and baked inside a biscuit dough. There are Pasty shops scattered throughout the U P offering a variety of dinner and dessert choices. The apple pie pasties were quite delicious 😋
