You know how certain smell, music, or breeze of air brings back memory?
So does food.
This is the last cooking video that I filmed in my kitchen before our move.
So this video will always hold a special place in my heart.
After deep cleaning the kitchen, now it's time for me to advertise it.
Put it up online and praying that whoever the next owner is, they would love and take a good care of this kitchen.
It may be a simple and humble kitchen, but many memories were made here.
This was the first ever kitchen that me and my husband owned and built together, marking a new phase we entered in our life.
It only appropriate that I bid farewell with it by cooking a special meal.
It's gonna be my husband's favorite snack: vegetable #fritters with spicy and sour dipping sauce. Or as we call it back in my hometown: #Bakwan or #Bala-Bala.

Ingredients:
#VegetableFritters 2:30
1 cup White cabbage, sliced thinly or shaved
2 large Carrot, shredded or julienned
2 Scallions, thinly sliced
2 Broccoli stems, peeled and julienned (or substitute with more cabbage or even large beansprouts)
300 grams All purpose flour
100 grams Cornstarch
50 grams Tapioca flour
4-5 cloves Garlic, minced
½ tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Mushroom bouillon or veggie stock
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp White pepper
400ml Water

Spicy and Sour #DippingSauce 0:54
Blitz together in a blender: 3 cloves Garlic and 2 Red chili
(if you want it extra spicy, give an additional 1-2 birds eye chili)
3-4cm Ginger, peel and crack
2 Tbsp Soy sauce
3 Tbsp Vinegar (or 1,5 Tbsp Essigessenz)
1 tsp Mushroom bouillon or Veggie or Chicken stock
3-4 Tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
300ml Water
1 Tbsp Cornstarch, dissolved in room temp water
