In this tutorial we will jump into working with Apache Cassandra with the goal of understanding the basics of Cassandras approach to querying.

Cassandra takes a much different approach to queries than traditional database management systems. For example Cassandra takes a demolished, query first approach to its queries where joins are not supported.

We will see how Cassandra implement a column orientated data storage model.
