Rhodes delivered it all - a splattering of snow in November and a perfect final day for us to set up at the River Camp site on the Alpine Swift Trails farm.

I am happiest when I am near water so to be wild camping on the banks of the Bell River, in the most beautiful setting under the Willow tree, surrounded by the mountains - it's going to be a day that I won't forget in a hurry!
We chilled, we swam, we 'surfed'...we even finally got the hammock up after 3 seasons!!!

It has honestly been such a special 3 night stay in Rhodes...I love the place and the people.

After 3 days of chilling, what lay ahead was one of our longest days on the road - travelling from Rhodes to Stutterheim via Killians Pass through Roussow and Dordrecht.

Spectacular...this area honestly needs a month to explore.

We arrived in Stutterheim after dark but at a place we had discovered on our recce - the Shire Eco Lodge. It's honestly something out of Hobbitville and although we were happy to be in chalets - which are a work of art and something to behold - we were also looking forward to introducing the place to the fellow campers who would be joining us to wrap up Season 3!
