📅 Key Dates:
↪ July 12, 2024: Publication in the Official Journal of the EU.
↪ August 1, 2024: AI Act comes into effect.
↪ February 1, 2025: Provisions on prohibited AI systems applicable.
↪ May 1, 2025: Codes of good practice for GPAIm providers.
↪ August 1, 2025: Compliance provisions for GPAIm become applicable.
↪ August 1, 2026: High-risk AI systems (Annex I) compliance deadline.
↪ August 1, 2027: Compliance for pre-August 2025 high-risk AI systems.
↪ August 1, 2030: Compliance for large-scale pre-August 2025 high-risk AI systems.
