A few weeks ago, a viewer left a somewhat negative and critical comment on one of my videos. Usually I don't respond to negativity, but since this viewer had put a lot of thought into their comment and didn't seem to be just hate-posting, I figured I'd go ahead and reply. Plus, they actually did raise some important points to consider about freelance illustration, even if those points weren't true to my experience personally (like having a personality that works well in freelance life, financial stability, etc). I actually asked a bunch of you about it on Instagram, and you seemed to think it was a good idea to make a video, so here it goes!
