The City of Hot Springs is inviting the public to give their input on potential projects at the site of the former Majestic Hotel.

A SEARCH FOR OUR WATERS
When first-time visitors come to Hot Springs National Park, they often ask the question, "So where are the Hot Springs?" It's a question that many in the hospitality industry are asked on a regular basis.

As the namesake for our city and national park, the thermal hot springs are sought after by travelers. Except for a few hot water displays on Bathhouse Row, visitors miss out on what could be a quintessential "Spa City" experience.

A VISION FOR OUR FUTURE
Initially explored in a 1992 Feasibility Study for the City of Hot Springs by a nationally-known economics consulting firm, a thermal pool complex "has the potential for broad market appeal if properly designed."

Through a possible public-private partnership, a thermal pool complex could showcase aesthetic design, utilize surplus thermal waters, increase revenue from visitor taxes, and provided an array of experiences including shopping, dining, water recreation and entertainment.

Not to be confused with a municipal pool, this thermal complex would charge admission and serve as an economic driver for the City of Hot Springs.
