Several shots of the Hindenburg (construction name LZ 129) airship flying over New York towards its destination, Lakehurst, New Jersey, only four hours before the crash. Swastika's seen on it. Several shots of Hindenburg in flight - some from the ground. Several shots of the zeppelin slowly approaching its destination. People on ground waiting. Smoke appears from the back of Hindenburg - ballast being released. Hindenburg dirigible flying very low, people on ground appear to start panicking - they run in different directions. A sequence showing Hindenburg in flames - destroyed in less then a minute. Blaze is so horrific that no one can come close to it - it burns like a box of matches. Fire brigade arrives, people playing with hoses but there is nothing left of Hindenburg apart from wires. Several shots of the debris. Dead toll was 35.
