The Motor Coach Industries MC-7 was a 47-passenger motorcoach produced from 1968 to 1973. Along with the MC-6, it was MCI's first 40-foot coach. While the MC-6 was largely experimental and produced in small numbers, 2,550 MC-7 coaches were produced—1,400 of them built for Greyhound USA.

The MC-7 was powered by a rear-mounted Detroit Diesel 8V71 engine and had a tag axle behind the drive axle. Early buses had hinged baggage doors, but a cantilever door design was later introduced. The passenger area was raised higher than MCI's previous buses, which gave the MC-7 a stepped roofline.

MCI upgraded their coach design and introduced the MC-8 in 1973, replacing the MC-7.
