Short Documentary explaining the History and Origin Story of Skype which started from Tele2 and Kazaa which was a peer-to-peer file sharing platform whose technology was later used in developing Skype. The application was first bought by eBay then passed down to Canadian Pension Plan Board and then sold to Microsoft. Due to reliability issues and market occupancy by competitors like FaceTime and WhatsApp, Microsoft developed Microsoft Teams which was somewhat of a mutation of Skype that competed against Zoom during the 2019 tragedy and is one of the best Business Conferencing application till date. Skype on the other hand still grows at slow place waiting for another moment to shine again.
