In this video I'm at the Beaconsfield services on the M40 Motorway where Gridserve have recently installed some new 400kW EV chargers. Six new chargers have been installed recently, which allow for 12 vehicles to charge simultaneously. They have been installed at the left side of the buildings, at the opposite end to the existing Gridserve and Ionity chargers.
So with the existing Gridserve & Ionity chargers, that would total 24 charging bays. This is really welcome and long overdue as this motorway services has never had enough EV chargers and by the looks of it, more are coming too!
The current groundworks by Delta HV Power Services seems to be for more Ionity chargers, following the grid upgrade this site received in late 2025.
The Extra MSA Beaconsfield services are on the M40 Junction 2, A355 Windsor Road Burtley Wood, Beaconsfield, HP9 2SE. What3words: ///puddles.dive.forks
