The case was cut, built, bent, and assembled by me using professional grade equipment and materials and then was assembled by hand. The PCB board was soldered by hand and assembled with the case by me.

This IN-18 large tube clock uses NOS (new old stock) IN-18 time code matched tubes. NOS means that they are the original Russian old stock Nixie tubes and have never been used. These large tubes are extremely rare and have been out of production for several decades and supplies are becoming very scarce. The typical lifespan of an IN-18 clock tube is roughly 7-10 years. However, these tubes use sockets that 'plug' into the PCB and can easily be replaced, which means the clock can last well beyond 10 years.
