Aredhel is often passed over simply as the mother of Maeglin and whose story gets lost in the larger tale of the First Age Noldor. However when I read it I was intrigued by the character because she seemed to be everything Galadriel was not as the more famous cousin is famously portrayed. Why is that and could she have been as great had she lived?
