With Stoughton Downhill only 20 mins from my house, it's rude not to visit. This place is awesome for progression and it's totally free to ride. As it's the Easter holidays and the weather is perfect, ie. dry it makes perfect sense to have a practice session and get lively with the jumping again after so long out the saddle.


I'd met up with some of my riding buddies, and what a session it was. This was also my first ride on the Switch9er so I was a little nervous having my own 29er FS. It's a dream bike for sure, but what would it be like to ride at Stoughton.


After a couple of practice laps of the "Edge" which is the only blue, it was time to hit some jump lines. After I got a feel for the bike things started to become more natural although not easy as such. Slowly over the session the jumps got a little bigger and the confidence grew which is always a positive thing.


Nobody got injured or bailed so even better. I even took my DSLR to try out a new lens. What a lens it is, I hope you enjoy some of the pictures in the edit guys.


Anyway, if you've not been to Stoughton Downhill then what are you waiting for. My only advice would be this, "wait until it's dry" Enjoy.
