🛕 Why Madmaheshwar?

Legend says that after the Mahabharata war, the Pandavas searched for Lord Shiva for redemption. Shiva, avoiding them, took the form of a bull (Nandi) and disappeared into the Garhwal Himalayas. His navel (Madhya bhag) appeared at Madmaheshwar—making it the navel-shaped manifestation of Mahadev.

Here, faith meets altitude—trekking through ancient villages, alpine forests, and majestic snow peaks.

Start Point: Ransi Village

Trek Distance: ~18 km (moderate difficulty)

Must-visit: Buda Madmaheshwar – mini-Kailash views 😍

Visible Peaks: Chaukhamba, Kedarnath, Neelkanth, Panchachuli

Altitude: 3,289 meters (10,790 ft)

Best Time: May to June & September to October
