Trilogy.wmv

"Trilogy," was the name chosen to a medley of songs arranged together as a tribute to the United States, and that was used during various tours of mine as a closing song. It is formed by Frankie Laine's "In The Beginning," composed by Dorcas Cochran, Kathleen G. Tomey and Fred Wise, followed by "America The Beautiful," written by Katherine Lee Bates and Samuel A. Ward, and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," an abolitionist song written by Julia Ward Howe in 1861, that was used by the union troops as a marching song. It is a unique medley, with powerful songs, that at the same time included the contribution of women composers. I really enjoyed, performing this medley.
