My 1982 GMC Jimmy shown running with a 5.7 Diesel. The original owner bought the Jimmy plus a 81 Chevrolet C20 brand new, and swapped the engines. I was told he later updated the Jimmy to the revised 85 GM goodwrench 5.7 diesel engine.

This is a warm weather cold start, takes a few seconds to idle smooth and a bit of visible smoke when cold. Runs very well otherwise.

This engine and transmission is available for sale.
Edit: driveline has been sold. Thanks for everyone interested. I will leave the video up for those interested in seeing a 5.7 diesel in action.
