Back when the WWE was known as Capitol Wrestling Corporation and part of the NWA, it had this tag-team championship. The Grahams and The Fabulous Kangaroos were just some of the teams that fought for the championship. The company was later renamed World Wide Wrestling Federation and the title was retired when Bruno Sammartino won it.
