Winter walk over a misty mountain. Machen in south Wales. Marvin and I hike through ALL the weather!

Today, Marvin and I hike through a lot of different weather, starting from Sirhowy country park, we climb up and follow some forestry tracks that overlook the town of Machen, then climb some more through the forest and up onto the top of Machen mountain. We were hoping for some views over the Severn estuary and across to England, but the winter weather made the visibility poor.

This walk features my Labrador, Marvin. He is from a working line and so needs A LOT of exercise. I prefer areas where I can let him run off the lead and we travel around the south-west of England and south Wales predominantly.
