Dont starve, and dont starve together is an indie game created by the franchise Klei. In it involves a group of survivors surviving in a world known as the constant where bizarre creatures such as pigmen, giant spiders, and treeguards. Play as one of the 21 characters, Wilson, Willow, Wolfgang, Wendy, Woodie, Wickerbottom, Webber, Wigfrid, Maxwell, WX-78, Wheeler, Wagstaff, Winona, Wormwood, Wes, Walani, Warly, Wilbur, Wilba, Woodlegs, Wortox, or Wanda in an attempt to not only survive but uncover the secrets of this strange world around you. everyone is aware of the inevitable hound waves that come every 10 or so days more or less, and are usually seen as nothing more than a mild inconvenience even in days as late as day 60. However, hounds will continue to get larger in number every wave and eventually will be quite a formidable fighting force.

Adding Fire and Ice hounds for their respective seasons isn't all that spawns as later on eventually varglets will make their debue making the infinite waves of ravenous tax collectors something you actually have to spend more than 5 minutes thinking about how to deal with. A common method of fighting them is having your own stand in army whether that be pigs, frogs, merms, bee mines, bunnymen, or communispiders.

However do beware that when luring hounds to these minions of yours that if theres a fire hound and it is killed, chances are your entire settlement will end up looking like Shady Sands after it apparently got bombed
