How to Create a Custom LUT in Lightroom with an Inexpensive Plugin

Описание к видео How to Create a Custom LUT in Lightroom with an Inexpensive Plugin

LUTs (Look Up Tables) are great. They provide a much easier and quicker workflow when color grading, and there are plenty of LUTs out there for free or purchase. The downside is that many of them are for cameras with built in Cine or Log profiles... Something out of budget for a bunch of monkeys like us. So...if you shoot with a camera that doesn't have Cine or Log profiles, or just want to create a custom grade (color grading), this is a pretty easy and cheap way to go about it.

I do not have any affiliation with the products mentioned, but I do use them, and wanted to share. Feel free to post your own solutions in the comments section!

The Export LUT Lightroom Plugin is offered by John Rellis and can be found here.

I use a Mac and Final Cut Pro X. Since this is a Lightroom plugin, it should work with any editing software that allows loading .cube based LUT files. Monkey #2 may or may not do a windows version for proper human beings sooner or later.

Clip was shot with a Sony a6000, with the FE28 f2.0, on a Zhiyun Crane. Neutral Profile -3 across the board.
