This is gameplay from the fun Taskset game Super Pipeline II, released for the C64 in 1985. The aim is to keep the pipeline repaired so the barrels at the bottom of the screen can fill. You take control of Foreman Fred, in charge of keeping the pipeline in good working order, so that barrels at the bottom of the screen can be filled from the limited reserves in the tank at the top of the screen. Aliens wander the pipeline, some of which will cause leaks. It's up to you to promptly lead one of two workmen to any leaks to repair them.

The first Pipeline game was fun, but Super Pipeline II really polished every aspect of the game-play, in my opinion. The addition of the funny intermissions between each level is a brilliant touch. I can't think of any other game on the C64 that did something like that.
