288 games and 141 goals in Serie A, playing with Sampdoria and Roma.
From 1996 to 2009 he played 13 Serie A Seasons, winning 1 Serie A and 1 Supercoppa Italiana, both in 2001 with AS Roma. Troughout his career he mantained a scoring average of 0.49 goals per match. He was always well assisted by Roberto Mancini in Sampdoria and Francesco Totti in Roma.
He was not lucky with Italy, where he scored only 3 goals in 20 international games.
