Procedural Texture - Maya

Описание к видео Procedural Texture - Maya

Use aiNoise and aiBump2D to create a procedural texture of an orange peel on an aiStandardSurface Shader in Maya. Use aiUserDataFloat to quickly enter in the scale values of the aiNoise to adjust the orange peel procedural texture. Add an area light and photo sweep to light the orange in the Arnold renderer in Maya. Learn how to add a coat to the texture using procedural aiNoise as well as add subsurface scatter to the orange peel. This is a Maya 3D modeling and Texturing tutorial for intermediate users.

Using procedural materials with AI, standard surface and noise generators can make an orange peel, have virtual imperfections and bumps that mimic reality while still being flat geometry.
