BVOH Dissolvable Support with PETG

Описание к видео BVOH Dissolvable Support with PETG

Using BVOH or Butendiol Vinyl Alcohol water dissolvable support with regular PETG and carbon fiber PETG.

Aquatech BVOH specifications seems to be close to other manufacturers so it should behave similarly.

Had to take the BVOH higher than the recommended printing temperature and slow its print speed down. Used custom gcode in the slicer tool change scripts to print the BVOH slower than the PETG.

It works well with the correct setup and does dissolve away. It’s really expensive but it’s only needed for the dense layers and the rest of the support can be cheaper material.

Because of the cost of using BVOH with ooze shields, used a custom tool change script to adjust printing speed and cool down the inactive extruder along with a prime pillar. This saved money and decreased the print time. Have videos posted    • No More Ooze Shields for 3D prints   and    • Script Change to Eliminate Ooze Shields  .

Used Atomic Filament carbon fiber PETG and Makergeeks PETG HD Glass.
