FRL Unit in Pneumatics

FRL stands for Filter, Regulator, and Lubricator. It is a key component in pneumatic systems used to ensure the clean, regulated, and lubricated supply of compressed air to pneumatic equipment.

1. Filter (F)

Removes dust, dirt, water, and other contaminants from compressed air.

Protects valves, actuators, and other components from damage.

Typically includes a drain valve to remove collected water and impurities.

2. Regulator (R)

Controls and maintains a constant output air pressure regardless of input fluctuations.

Prevents damage to components due to overpressure.

3. Lubricator (L)

Adds a controlled amount of oil into the compressed air.
