This episode is an open letter to the content creators.

First things first — I genuinely want to big up everybody in this space. It’s not easy to build, to be consistent, to deal with commentary, pressure, and the algorithm. I respect the grind.

But let’s be honest.

That good energy isn’t always reciprocated.

There’s a lot of backhanded compliments in this space.
A lot of shade disguised as “advice.”
A lot of “I’m just saying this because I care” — while subtly positioning yourself as superior in front of your audience.

Highlighting that you’re better.
That you’d do it differently.
That you know more.
That your brand is above someone else’s.

Maybe it is.
But if something’s truly understood, it doesn’t need to be constantly explained to the public.

If advice is genuine, it can be given behind closed doors.

I’ve phoned creators before.
I’ve told them privately:
“I wouldn’t move like that.”
“The streets might read it differently.”
“People are already painting a narrative.”
“We don’t want that perception.”

And once I’ve said it privately, that’s where it stays.

What I don’t do is repeat it online afterwards for optics.

If you tell me something in private and then echo it publicly to your audience, your motives are questionable at best.

Some people will feel this is direct.
Some will think it’s indirect.

If the shoe fits — wear it.

If you feel addressed, maybe that tells you something.

This isn’t hate.
It’s awareness.
