Piggies in Blankets are the perfect appetizer, finger food or hors d’oeuvre for any party or get-together. We’ve called them Piggies ‘n Blankets (other names include: Sausage Roll, wiener winks, kilted sausages, mini crescent dogs and franks in jackets), but our kids, family, and friends call them delicious. Great for holidays such as New Year's Eve, birthday parties, brought them to potlucks and they are super for entertaining.

This video was recorded during our Super Bowl party - so there is some party noise in the background. But it also shows you how simple it is to make this recipe - you just cut each hot dogs into 5 pieces and cut each crescent roll into 3 pieces. Wrap the crescent roll around the hot dog and cook. Voila - you've got a simple and tasty party finger food.

If you want to spend a little more money, you could buy Little Smokies or use Hillshire Farms Smoked sausage. There are lots of variations on this recipe. Just do want you can afford - it's sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
